We went to woodlands for birthday celebrations. The food was amazing, two cources for £20 which is great value. The food was excellent , I had ribs for starter and the meat fell off the bone , my main was pork which was also really good , and cheese cake for pudding which was also superb , all ten of us enjoyed the food which can be rare when so many eating , but everyone said we will definitely be back. Also a really nice touch at the end , they brought a complimentary tray with mini deserts for birthdays within our group , staff were excellent, kept the drinks coming and the food.

I had to leave a review for the Woodlands restaurant as we had such a fabulous evening celebrating 4 birthdays last night. 10 of us in total and we all said the food was absolutely delicious. Piping hot and great value for money with lovely attentive staff. We will definitely return on a light summer evening next time to take advantage of the views. Thank you everyone, a really lovely evening had by us all with superb food. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Annika tended to our table of 10 brilliantly.. We all made amendments to the menu and the whole team was nothing but gracious.. The service was incredible from start to finish and the food was incredible.. We shall certainly be returning. Not to mention the special attention annika paid to the fact it was my birthday gifting me with both a cake and a cocktail.. Service with a smile, professional and friendly she was certainly a fantastic advocate for the restaurant

Birthday meal for 10 people. The vegetables were roasted and served in one bowl with oil in, 2 bowls between 10 people. We asked for extra potatoes, as the 2 bowls was not enough. We expected to have some steamed vegetables but there was none. It was a bit oily. The meat was nice and the fish, the vegetarian meal was a bit sickly. Staff nice and helpful. Lovely restaurant, decor lovely.

We visited the restaurant on a warm September evening. It was lovely sitting on the terrace for some drinks before the meal. The food was first class and the service was attentive without being imposing. We then had an hour on the terrace after the meal to enjoy the rest of the evening. It was a really enjoyable night and we have plans to return again with a slightly larger group. Definitely a venue that needs to be visited.
